2nd Arrest Made In Homicide Of 14-Year-Old Temple Terrace Girl

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police have made a second arrest in the homicide of 14-year-old Nilexia Alexander of Temple Terrace May 6.

On Thursday at a violent crime forum in Tampa, Tampa Police Chief Mary O'Connor announced the arrest of Robert Quincy Creed Jr., 45, by the U.S. Marshal's Task Force in St. Petersburg.

Creed has been charged with accessory after the fact - first-degree murder.

On July 8, Tampa police announced the arrest of Ronny Walker, 44, charged with premeditated first-degree murder.

On May 6 at 3:58 Tampa police responded to a report by a resident who went outside after hearing gunfire and saw a body lying on the ground in the 100 block of Floribraska Avenue.

The investigation led detectives to Walker, and they were able to recover DNA evidence from his car as well as incriminating cell phone messages.
