3 Injured in Tampa Drive-By Shooting

The incident happened Monday night.

The Tampa Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred as three men were standing outside a convenience store at 29th Street North and 24th Avenue East Monday night.

According to the department, the men were fired upon by someone inside a passing vehicle. After the shooting, the suspects fled in what is believed to be a gray or gold four-door sedan.

All three victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The victims are Melvin Hamilton, 25, Joshua Ricks, 19, and Romello Wells, 18.

No arrests have been made as of yet and the investigation is ongoing.
