HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Four people are dead following a Thursday afternoon two-vehicle crash on I-75 just north of the Selmon Expressway, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

Two pickup trucks were traveling south on I-75 when a truck driven by a 36-year-old Clearwater man tried to change lanes and hit the other truck around 3 p.m. The collision caused both trucks to rotate on the interstate.

The truck changing lanes overturned as it entered the grassy median and all four occupants were ejected, FHP said.
