49ers Linebacker Arrested In Tampa For Domestic Violence

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster is out on bail after being charged with first-degree domestic violence.

TAMPA, FL -- San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster is out on bail after being charged with first-degree domestic violence.

Tampa Police were called to the Grand Hyatt hotel, 2900 Bayport Drive, Tampa, around 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, when Foster, 24, and a 28-year-old woman became involved in an argument.

The victim told police that Foster slapped her phone out of her hand, pushed her in the chest and slapped her with an open hand on the right side of her face.

Officers observed a 1-inch scratch on the victim's left collar bone.

During the investigation, officers learned that Foster and the victim lived together in the past and had been in an on-again-off-again relationship over the past three years.

Foster was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail and released Sunday morning on a $2,000 bond.

The same woman accused Foster of domestic violence in February but the charge was later dropped.

Foster did not play in Sunday's game in which the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won 27-9.
