1 Injured In Accident Involving Bus, TECO Streetcar
TECO Line Streetcar tweeted that there is no service at the Whiting Station and there are delays at two other stations.
TAMPA, FL — One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries Monday after a charter bus collided with a TECO streetcar in downtown Tampa.
According to Jason Penny, public information officer for Tampa Fire Rescue, paramedics assessed a number of people who were on the bus and streetcar at the time of the accident and all but one declined to be taken to the hospital. The person taken to the hospital was the driver of the streetcar.
"We were very, very lucky today," he said. "We did some quick assessments and there was only one injury, and it was minor."
