67 Flights Canceled At TIA As Severe Storms Move Through
Tampa International Airport is reporting that 176 flights have been delayed.
TAMPA BAY, FL -- If you're flying out of Tampa International Airport this afternoon or meeting an arriving flight, you might want to check the flight before heading out in the storm.
Tampa International Airport is reporting that 176 flights have been delayed and 67 flights have been canceled due to the severe thunderstorms moving through Tampa Bay.
The ground stop at TIA has been lifted, however, lightning in the area is still affecting ramp operations.

As the line of thunderstorms pass to the east of Tampa Bay, areas are still experiencing strong winds and intermittent power outages.
The Sunshine Skyway Bridge remains closed due to high winds. The Florida Highway Patrol announced the closure of the Skyway just after noon.
