7 Officers Test Positive For Coronavirus at TPD
Forty-six employees at the Tampa Police Department have been placed in quarantine, said police.
TAMPA, FL — Seven officers with the Tampa Police Department have tested positive for the coronavirus, a news release said.
Within the last week, four tested positive.
A school resources officer became symptomatic on June 2, and tested positive four days later.

Three authorities became symptomatic on June 10, 11 and 12. They were placed on quarantine on June 12. Test results for all three of their tests came back as positive.
Forty-six people employed within the department are currently in quarantine as are all officers who have tested positive.
