All Tampa Bay Warned Of Possibility Of Tornados, Hail, Wind Gusts
The National Weather Service, based in Ruskin, has issued a tornado watch for all Tampa Bay counties.

TAMPA BAY, FL – The National Weather Service, based in Ruskin, has issued a tornado watch for Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Sarasota and Polk counties Tuesday, March 20 until 7 p.m.
The NWS Storm Prediction Center says residents can expect severe storms today with wind gusts of up to 60 mph, large hail up to 2 inches in diameter and the possibility of tornadoes.
Thousands were without power Tuesday afternoon as the storm passed through Tampa Bay. Duke Energy reported almost 30,000 customers without power in the Bay area. TECO reported only about 5,000 customers without power.

The spring training game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Baltimore Orioles in Sarasota was canceled.
Tampa International reported some flight delays because of the weather. The Sunshine Skyway bridge was closed for a time Tuesday afternoon because of high winds.
