Alumnus Blake Casper Gives $1 Million to Jesuit’s Campus Master Plan
A 1991 graduate of Jesuit High School in Tampa, developer Blake Casper's gift will go to completing the school's master plan.
TAMPA, FL — In the spirit of Homecoming Week at Jesuit High School, which culminated Friday, 1991 alumnus Blake Casper has made a transformational gift of $1 million to Jesuit High School, 4701 N Himes Ave., Tampa.
“It’s an honor and a privilege to be able to give back to an institution that has contributed so much to me, my family and my community,” Casper said. “Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam. Go Tigers!”
Casper’s gift will go toward Jesuit’s Campus Master Plan.

“When you look at what Blake has done for our Tampa community, with the creation of unique concepts such as Oxford Exchange and The Stovall House, it’s clear he is a true visionary,” said Jesuit’s director of development, Nick Suszynski. “And as a Jesuit graduate, Blake understands the importance of philanthropy and paying it forward for current and future generations. Partnering with us in this leadership manner helps ensure Jesuit’s vision will become a reality as we develop the next phase of our Campus Master Plan.”
Casper is the co-owner of the hospitality company, Oxford Commons, along with his sister, Allison Casper Adams. They founded the iconic Oxford Exchange in downtown Tampa, The Current Hotel on Tampa Bay, The Library in St. Petersburg and The Stovall House in south Tampa.

Recently, Oxford Commons launched Predalina, a seafood-forward Mediterranean concept on Water Street Tampa.
For many years, Casper, who previously owned 60 McDonald’s franchises, has been a benefactor of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay, the renowned family and children's center dedicated to supporting families with sick children in their time of need.
In the past few years, Jesuit’s Campus Master Plan projects have included the Antinori Center for the Arts, which opened this year, as well as Gonzmart Hall, Oliva Courtyard and the Chapel of the Holy Cross.
Upcoming projects include a spacious Student Activities Center and Dining Hall, and a state-of-the-art science center.
Jesuit High School of Tampa is a private, all-male, Catholic high school rooted in the Jesuit tradition of education. Jesuit has been educating young men in the Tampa Bay area since 1899.
