Floyd’s 99 Barbershop of South Tampa today announced plans for their grand opening event to be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The day-long celebration will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, an in-shop scavenger hunt, prizes, and more. The shop, located at 1155 S. TAMPA, FL -- Tampa Police have made an arrest in the Sept. 3 shooting death of an 18-year-old who was riding his bike.Misael Mora, 18, of the 1200 block of East Annie Street was charged with murder on Dec. 11. At 8:35 p.m. on Sept. 3, Tesean D. Blue of the 12000 block of North Dale Mabry Highway was riding his bike in the area of North Brooks Street and East Annie Street when he was shot. Officers immediately began performing first aid until they were relieved by Tampa Fire Rescue personnel.
