Beer Spills Over Florida Highway In Crash Involving 5 Semi Trucks
Commuters along I-75 from Hernando into Pasco and Hillsborough counties were surprised to see cases of Coors Lite strewn along the highway.

HERNANDO COUNTY, FL — Cases upon cases of Coors Light beer scattered across Interstate 75 in Hernando County on Wednesday following a crash involving five semi tractor-trailers trucks, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at 6:12 a.m. near the State Road 50 exit, just as the morning commute from Hernando County south through Pasco and Hillsborough counties was beginning, according to FHP spokesman Steve Gaskins.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, two semi-tractor trailers were traveling south on I-75 when one semi collided with the other while changing lanes. A third and fourth semi-truck along with a pickup truck stopped behind the two crashed semi-trucks on the outside shoulder of the highway to render help.

Then, according to Gaskins, a fifth semi-tractor trailer truck transporting the Coors Light beer came along. Failing to see the convoy of trucks stopped in front of him, the driver collided with the pickup truck. The pickup truck was propelled into the first and fifth semi-trucks and the fifth truck collided with the fourth, which was transporting concrete.
The loads carried both tractor trailers were dumped on the highway, closing all southbound lanes and forcing traffic to be diverted onto SR-50 until the mess was cleaned up around 8:30 a.m.
