Bicyclist Killed In Crash In Tampa Sunday

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Police are investigating the death of a man who was struck while riding a bicycle on North 26th Street Sunday.

At 4:34 a.m., the bicyclist was riding north on North 26th Street when he crossed the intersection of Columbus Drive and collided with a Toyota sedan that was heading east on Columbus Drive.

The bicyclist was transported to the hospital where he died. The driver of the Toyota was also taken to the hospital with injuries.
