Bicyclist Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash On US 92: FL Troopers
Investigators are looking for the driver of an SUV who left the scene after hitting and killing a bicyclist on US 92, FL troopers said.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Investigators are looking for a hit-and-run driver in a crash that killed a bicyclist Saturday night on U.S. 92, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
An SUV with an unknown driver behind the wheel was heading west on the highway when it drove into the shoulder east of Mobile Villa Drive, hitting a bicyclist also heading west in the shoulder, just after 10:30 p.m.
After the crash, the driver left the crash site, FHP said.

The bicyclist, a 38-year-old Nicaraguan man, died at the scene.
