Police said no foul play is suspected in the death of the 72-year-old woman.
TAMPA — The body of a missing 72-year-old Tampa woman was recovered Sunday morning from an unspecified body of water near Ballast Point, Tampa Police said.
Police said Tampa Police Marine Patrol divers recovered the body of Miriam Nordlinger, who triggered the issuance of a Purple Alert Saturday night after police said she left her South Arrawana Avenue home without returning.
According to the nonprofit, We Are The Essentials, Nordlinger went missing Friday. Investigators with the group assisted in the search for Nordlinger, later suspending it at 1 p.m. Saturday.
