The Eagle Series is a rotating collection of unique, limited-edition Yuengling brews released every month. These specialty creations can only be found at the Draft Haus & Kitchen in Tampa, FL, and at the original Oldest Brewery in America in Pottsville, PA.
Introducing Eagle Series #10: Yuengling Hefeweizen is a traditional Bavarian-style Hefeweizen. This unfiltered wheat beer is known for its hazy golden appearance and thick, creamy white head. Brewed with a significant proportion of malted wheat and fermented with a unique German ale yeast, it features a special balance of fruity and spicy flavors- most notably banana-like esters and clove-like phenols. The mouthfeel is smooth and effervescent, with a medium-light body and high carbonation that enhances its refreshing character. The yeast-derived flavor is backed by the unique malted wheat and classic Noble German Hallertau hops that play in the background. It is low in bitterness with moderate bready maltiness to ensure that the distinctive Hefeweizen banana and clove like characteristics shine. 4.2% ABV.
