Whether you want to get fit, try something new, or join an amazing community, Tampa Roller Derby has a spot for you! This is our last beginner class of 2026. Don't let another day go by without fulfilling that dream of being a roller derby player!
This is for anyone interested in joining - skaters, officials, announcers, or volunteers. By the end of the night, you’ll lace up skate and gear, and learn basic skating skills to find your starting point. No experience? No problem! We’ll guide you every step (and glide) of the way.
What to Expect:
* Meet members of Tampa Roller Derby
* Learn about skating, officiating, and volunteering opportunities
* Gear up and hit the track for beginner skating skills
* Discover how you can start your roller derby journey
What to Wear/Bring:
* Comfortable athletic wear
* Water bottle
* Mouthguard
* Positive energy and attitude!
(Skates and gear will be provided but bring your own if you have them)
