The City of Tampa is helping residents protect personal information online and understand artificial intelligence during its next Mayor's Neighborhood University (MNU) Saturday Session on Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Hanna Avenue City Center, 2555 East Hanna Avenue.
The City’s Community Engagement & Partnerships Department summer interns designed this month’s interactive session which features experts from the City's Technology & Innovation Department and Customer Experience team, along with special guests from CareerSource Tampa Bay and Rich and Company Florida LLC.
Participants will gain practical skills to recognize online scams, protect their personal information, understand the benefits and risks of artificial intelligence, connect with City resources through Alert Tampa, Tampa Connect and GIS mapping tools, in addition to strengthening their online presence using LinkedIn, Canva and Adobe Express.
The program also includes interactive quizzes, digital take-home resources, and opportunities for attendees to ask questions throughout the morning.

Mayor's Neighborhood University Saturday Session is the City of Tampa's free civic education program designed to connect residents with City services, programs and resources while empowering them with knowledge and skills that strengthen neighborhoods and enhance quality of life.
