Tampa Based Liquor Depot to Release One-of-a-Kind Single Barrel for Mike Alstott Family Foundation

For the fifth year in a row, Liquor Depot owner Trey Lawson is once again teaming up with former Buccaneers player Mike Alstott and the Mike Alstott Family Foundation for the store’s charity barrel fundraiser program. On Saturday, October 3rd there will be bottles available exclusively for purchase at the Liquor Depot Waters location located at 7304 W Waters Avenue in Tampa. In addition, Mike Alstott will be there for photo opportunities and signing bottles. Doors open at 9 am. The bottles are available on a first come, first serve basis. One bottle per person.

The barrel that Trey and Mike selected this year is a Penelope Havana 114 - proof single barrel pick (Maple finish only). This is the only single barrel of its kind in the world. It will be available on October 3 for $140.40 per bottle. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the bottles will support the Mike Alstott Family Foundation.

Trey, a life-long Buccaneers fan, launched this charity barrel fundraiser back in 2021 because he is passionate about giving back and making a difference in his community. Since the start of this initiative, Liquor Depot has donated over $60,000 to the Mike Alstott Family Foundation from 100% of the proceeds of three barrels they have done together. The goal of the fifth barrel is to raise over $15,000 from the community’s support. The Mike Alstott Family Foundation's mission is to uplift the minds, hearts and spirits of families and children on their way to realizing their full potential through various events, assistance programs and celebrations.

“Single barrels are incredibly unique and once they are sold, they are gone forever, never to be replicated. We are excited to unveil this year’s one-of-a-kind pick and once again offer this exclusive barrel opportunity to help raise funds for the Mike Alstott Family Foundation and make a difference in our community. We hope to raise $15,000 this year and surpass $75,000 total raised over the past 5 years,” said Trey Lawson, owner of Liquor Depot.
