Celebrate 'Noon Year's Eve' at Lowry Park Zoo
The Tampa attraction is ringing in the New Year a little early for area families.

Tampa Bay area parents who donât want the kids up until the wee hours of the morning can celebrate the New Year Lowry Park Zoo style.
The Tampa attraction is joining forces with MIX 100.7 to ring in 2015 early during a Noon Yearâs Eve daytime celebration. The fun takes place Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the 1101 W. Sligh Ave. zoo. The zooâs event yard will serve as the party site with live entertainment, games, arts and crafts, vendors and inflatables available.
Nickelodeonâs SpongeBob and Patrick are also expected to stop by and watch the giant countdown clock as it speeds toward noon and a ceremonial juice toast, officials say.
