TAMPA BAY, FL — Looking for something fun to do this weekend in the Tampa Bay area? There’s something for every interest — Gasparilla and Sarasota film festivals, Chasco Fiesta, Ink the Bay, and Tampa Pride.

Gulfport Art in the Yard

More than 75 Gulfport artists display and sell their art in their yards Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Almost every genre of art is represented including all types of painting, and mixed media, woodworking, metal crafting, jewelry,quilting, tie dye, clothing, photography, resin art, painted furniture, recycled art, glass mosaic, silver smithing, oil, watercolor and acrylic painting.

Tampa Pride

Celebrate Tampa Pride with events various events on Saturday, including the Diversity Parade, a street festival and Pride Night party at the Cuban Club.

Sarasota Film Festival

This annual 10-day festival, which kicks off Saturday, celebrates 25 years of bringing films, celebrity guests and educational opportunities to Sarasota.

Pinellas Festival of Community Bands

This free festival presented by the Dunedin Music Society on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. features ensembles from throughout the region.

Haines City Children’s Literacy Festival

This event, which takes place Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Lake Eva Park in Haines City, encourages children to embrace the joy of reading. The festival is hosted by author Whitney R. Sims and is sponsored by Mayor Anne Huffman.

Ink the Bay

This annual tattoo festival runs Friday through Sunday at the Tampa Convention Center. The event offers tattoos, art, fashion, media and welding.

Bradenton Spring Festival

This fundraiser for the Humane Society of Manatee County takes place Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Caddy’s of Bradenton. This pet-friendly and family-friendly event offers food and drinks, a race course for pooches, pet photos, games, vendors and more.

“Dear Tampa Bay” Film Screening

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve in St. Petersburg hosts a screening of the short film “Dear Tampa Bay” on Saturday at 11 a.m. This National Wildlife Federation project relays climate risk and solutions for Tampa Bay through personal storytelling from community leaders across the Gulf.

Chasco Fiesta

Now in its 101st year, this Chasco Fiesta festival kicks off Friday and offers nine days of programming at New Port Richey’s Sims Park. Activities include a Native American festival, a street parade, boat parade, car show, 5K run, musical acts, golf and bowling tournaments, an art show, a carnival, and more.

Gasparilla International Film Festival

Tampa Bay’s largest film festival, which runs through Monday, will screen 23 feature films and 50 short films including films by Tampa Bay directors.
