The journal Psychonomic Bulletin &amp; Review published a review of 128 years of psychological research examining how color influences our feelings. Researchers found consistent associations between specific hues and emotions. The findings reinforce that different colors can evoke distinct emotional associations and influence how people respond to what they see.

Instead, choose one compelling piece that draws the eye, anchors the space, and brings the room to life.</li><li>Choose color with intention. Consider how different shades make you feel and select a palette that supports the atmosphere you want to create. For a calming space, for example, look for tones and artwork with a soothing visual rhythm.</li><li>Add dimension through texture. Texture can completely change the experience of art in a room. Mixed-media artwork adds depth and movement, a type of energy, and can take on a different appearance as light moves across its surface throughout the day, making it a great conversation piece. </li><li>Choose connection over trends.
