ADA Accountability in HCPS
As a parent, I’ve spent the last year documenting concerns involving student safety, bullying response procedures, and ADA/IEP accommodations within the school system.
After speaking with other families, I realized many parents feel unheard, unsupported, or unsure where to turn when advocating for children with disabilities or documented educational needs.
I’ve created a parent advocacy petition and resource initiative to help families organize concerns professionally, document experiences appropriately, and connect with potential advocacy resources.
This effort is focused on accountability, student safety, transparency, and ensuring all children receive equal support and protection within educational environments.
