Collision With Cement Wall Leads To Death of Tampa Man

TAMPA, FL — A 26-year-old man has died following an accident Monday at Causeway Boulevard and 22nd Street.

According to Tampa police, at 1:02 a.m., the man driving a Chevrolet Camaro east on Causeway Boulevard when he drifted off the road and struck a metal guardrail. He then overcorrected and struck a cement wall.

He was taken to the hospital where he died. A 24-year-old woman passenger is listed in stable condition.
