Coronavirus Latest: Florida Death Toll Rises To 13, Officials Say
Florida has confirmed its 13th coronavirus fatality. As of Sunday morning, the state has 830 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
TAMPA, FL — Florida health officials on Sunday confirmed that 13 people with COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, have died.
The state continues to see a rise in positive coronavirus cases and deaths: on Saturday, officials tallied 658 confirmed cases and 12 deaths. According to Florida's Department of Health, 830 people are now infected with the virus.
Case data is updated at approximately 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.

Broward County has the most confirmed cases in the state with 180 testing positive. Miami-Dade County has 177 cases and Palm Beach County has 59 cases. Those three South Florida counties account for more than half of all Florida cases.
