HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Hillsborough County's most popular testing site will reopen across Dale Mabry Highway beginning Monday, Jan. 4.

The free public coronvirus testing site at the stadium at 4201 N. Dale Mabry Highway closed at noon Thursday, Dec. 31, and will be closed during the New Year’s holiday weekend while officials move the site.

The drive-through testing area will be accessed via Raymond James Stadium Parking Lot 12, between Tampa Bay Boulevard and Columbus Drive, west of Dale Mabry Highway. Residents should enter the site from the north near the entrance to the parking lot for Hillsborough Community College on Tampa Bay Boulevard. After being tested, people will exit the site to the south onto Columbus Drive. There is no entry point from Columbus.

Digital message boards and other wayfinding signage will help motorists find the new site. This map of the site shows how residents can access Lot 12 from local highways.

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 5, the new site will resume the non-holiday schedule of Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hillsborough County’s COVID-19 Coronavirus Testing and Information Line, (888) 513-6321, will remain open 24/7 on New Year’s Day and through the weekend for general questions related to the coronavirus, but will not be available to make testing appointments.

Here is the schedule for the remainder of this week and next:

Testing is done on a first-come, first-served basis at Raymond James Stadium. Appointments are not scheduled in advance.

On days when demand is high, entry lines may have to be closed early to accommodate longer wait times.

Appointments are required at the Vance Vogel Sports Complex, 13012 Bullfrog Creek, Riverview, and the William Owen Pass Sports Complex, 1300 Sydney Dover Road, Dover. To schedule an appointment, call (888) 513-6321 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or make an appointment online.
