Ghouls And Ghosts To Take Over ZooTampa On 11 Select Nights In October

TAMPA, FL â Guests can choose their scare level this October when Creatures of the Night returns to ZooTampa at Lowry Park for 11 select nights.
This yearâs family-friendly fright fest will feature NightShadow, a dream master who brings whimsical as well as nightmarish dreams to life. Entry to this event is limited. Advanced purchased tickets and reservations are strongly encouraged.
New Creatures of the Night attractions include:

- Junkyard of Broken Dreams: A haunted house where the spookiest of childhood dreams and urban legends have come to life.
- Ghosts of Gator Grove: Back in the mid-1800s, Pirate Captain Joseph sunk his treasure near the tiny town of Gator Grove. The entire townâand everyone in itâdisappeared just a few years later. ZooTampa guests will have a chance to wander through the haunted swamp that was left behind.
- Scarecrow Junction: For younger guests, dance with the scarecrows whoâve gathered to celebrate the season and try your luck at escaping the open-air HaHa Haybale Maze.
- Dr. HooDoo Show: Dr. HooDoo and his assistant Wilma will roam the zoo with their comical street show.
- The Voodoo Bar: ZooTampaâs Beer and Wine Garden has been transformed into the Voodoo Bar where adult guests can enjoy cocktails and treats in a festive New Orleans atmosphere.
Returning Favorites:
- Twisted Tales: Enjoy everyoneâs favorite storybook villains, from an evil queen to a wolf in grandmaâs clothing, as they come to life with unexpected twists.
- Clown Carousel: A caravan of clowns has set up residence around ZooTampaâs famous carousel. Lucilla Lumpkin will join the clowns with her pumpkin smashing show.
- The Realm of the Spider Queen: Trek through a spooky spider cave and emerge at a high-energy dance celebration presided over by the queen herself.
- Sirenâs Song: Enter the underwater world of the siren who lures unsuspecting pirates with her song and transforms them to stone.
- Pirate Party Pants: Usually, dead men tell no tales, but these spooky pirates have plenty of stories to share. Join them for storytelling and magic.
Creatures of the night will take place Oct. 1, 2 (members-only night), 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 28 and 30 from 4 to 10 p.m.

General admission tickets are $29.95 and can be purchased online.
Thereâs a $5 reservation fee for annual members and âPay for a Day, Come Back All Yearâ ticket holders, which will be reimbursed upon entry in the form of a $5 voucher for food and merchandise on the night of the reservation.
Children 12 years of age and under are invited to wear their most spooky Halloween attire but masks, costumes and face paint are prohibited for guests 13 years old and up. Toy weapons are prohibited regardless of age.
