Deputies Seeking Suspect Who Allegedly Pointed Gun At Woman At Gas Station

The Hillsborough Co. Sheriff's Office released a surveillance video hoping for help with identification.

TAMPA BAY, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is turning to the public seeking information on an aggravated assault suspect who reportedly pointed a handgun at a woman as she pumped gas at a Cross Creek Boulevard station.

The 18-year-old woman told deputies she was at the Shell station at 10052 Cross Creek on July 10 at about 9:05 p.m. when a man at another pump was trying to get her attention. The female said she ignored the individual, but then he purportedly drove past her laughing and pointing at her a black and gold semi-auto handgun, deputies said.

The suspect, described as a black male with long dreadlocks in a ponytail, was wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt, dark pants and dark shoes and was driving a dark colored sedan, possibly an early 2000s Cadillac DeVille, said officials, who on Friday released a store surveillance video of the subject.
