Divine Miss M Coming to Tampa

After a decade hiatus from touring, Bette Midler has announced she’s hitting the road with a planned stop in Tampa May 11.

The Divine Miss M will take the stage at the Amalie Arena to promote her new CD, “It’s the Girls!” In fact, she’s giving away a copy of that CD with each ticket purchased online.

Midler’s tour kicks off May 8 in Hollywood, Fla., at the Hard Rock Live. All told, she’ll visit 22 cities nationwide.

Tickets for the Tampa show go on sale Monday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. The show will feature a mix of Midler classics along with songs from the new release, which goes on sale Nov. 4.

While general ticket sales are set to begin at 10 a.m. Dec. 8, some fans can get their hands on seats a little earlier. American Express card holders can begin buying tickets Nov. 10 at 9 a.m. through Nov. 16 at 5 p.m.
