Does FHP Have the Best-Looking Cruisers?
The Florida Highway Patrol is competing against agencies from states across the country to determine which has the best-looking cruisers.

TAMPA BAY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is pitted against other law enforcement agencies from across the country in a contest for bragging rights, an award and the honor of gracing the cover of “America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers 2017 Wall Calendar.”
FHP’s speedy, sleek cruisers with eye-catching markings face some stiff competition from across the country in this year’s contest. The American Association of State Troopers received more than 95,000 votes in last year’s contest with the West Virginia State Police taking top honors and the Ohio State Highway Patrol running a close second.
The contest, now in its third year, began as “a friendly competition between state agencies and a fun way to allow community support and interaction with law enforcement in a positive manner,” the organization explained in a media release. Calendars generated after the contest closes will be available for purchase on the association’s website starting Oct. 1. Proceeds from calendar sales benefit the American Association of State Troopers Foundation, which provides educational scholarships to dependents of troopers across the country.
