A dog was found abandoned in a cage on the shoulder of Interstate 275 in the Tampa area, FL Highway Patrol said. Do you know its owner?

TAMPA, FL — An abandoned dog was found in a cage on the shoulder of Interstate 275 in the Tampa area on Wednesday morning, Florida Highway Patrol wrote in a post to X.
A passing motorist saw the pup in the northbound shoulder just north of Bearss Avenue.
“Once again, Florida, we do NOT abandon our furry friends on the side of the highway,” FHP wrote.
