Early Morning Weekend Sex Assault Reported in Tampa

Police release sketch of suspect. Please share! [BREAKING]

TAMPA, FL – Police today released a sketch of a sexual assault suspect connected to an incident reported Sunday morning at North Central Avenue and East Yukon Street in Tampa.

The Tampa Police Department said the case was logged at 2:30 a.m. with the attacker described as a black male in his early- to mid-20s. No additional details of the assault were disclosed.

The agency is hoping the public can assist with an identification.

"Help us take this criminal off the street," Tampa PD officials said.
