Elderly Woman Targeted In East Lake Park Home Burglary
The Hillsborough County Sheriff is searching for two men who tricked an elderly woman and stole from her.
EAST LAKE PARK, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for two men who tricked an elderly woman into letting them into her home so they could steal from her.
On July 9, the men offered to pressure wash the 92-year-old victim's East Lake Park home and asked her about buying a vehicle for sale in her front yard. As the victim went back into her home, the men followed her.
As seen on surveillance video, one man distracted the woman as the other rummaged through her belongings, stealing coins and jewelry worth approximately $161.

The men left the home in a dark-colored (possibly green) Ford Explorer.
They are white. One is 30 to 45 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall, about 200 pounds with sandy blonde hair. The other is 20 to 35 years old, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with brown hair.
