On a date that for many people symbolizes the bravery and dedication of the nation’s firefighters, the City of Tampa not only will honor the fallen but will rededicate Tampa Fire Station 1 -- home of the Tampa Firefighters Museum -- as it begins its second century of service to the community.
Zack Street between Jefferson and Pierce streets will close at 6am for the scheduled events, as follows:

- Presentation of Colors by Tampa Fire Rescue and Tampa Police Department Joint Color Guard
- National Anthem (USAF flyover)
- Joint Color Guard posts Colors
- Detail Commander to stage to read text honoring fallen
- Detail Commander strikes bell 4-4-4 (all units have returned home)
- Firefighters of Tampa Bay Pipe & Drum Corps play "Amazing Grace"

10:35am to 10:45am 9/11 Memorial Remembrance Ends and Museum Centennial Events begin.
10:45am to 1pm Musician Casey Stidham performs. Public is welcome to tour the museum. Lunch available.
1:05pm The weekend's events close.
2pm Zack Street reopens to traffic.
