Fire Investigated at South Tampa Thai Restaurant
Firefighters have extinguished the structure fire at Thai Market & Kitchen on South Dale Mabry, officials said.

Firefighters extinguished a structure fire at a South Tampa Thai restaurant that is considered "suspicious," officials said Tuesday night.

Tampa Fire Rescue units quickly contained the fire at Thai Market and Kitchen, 3325 S. Dale Mabry Hwy., a spokesperson said in a media release sent at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday.
The restaurant was not open for business at the time, officials said, and no evacuation was not necessary. No injuries were reported.
My Fox Tampa Bay reported that police officers "saw someone running from the building, caught up with him and detained him," though those reports have not been confirmed.
The fire is under investigation, officials said.
