Flood Advisory Issued For Hillsborough, Pasco County

The National Weather Service Tampa Bay​ has issued a flood advisory in effect until 9:45 p.m. Friday for most of Hillsborough and Pasco.

TAMPA BAY, FL — The National Weather Service Tampa Bay has issued a flood advisory in effect until 11 p.m. Friday for most of Hillsborough and Pasco counties.

With the approaching tropical disturbance, the NWS said heavy rains of 1 to 3 inches could cause minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas and cause small-stream flooding.

Areas impacted include: Tampa, Temple Terrace, Brandon, Fish Hawk, East Lake-Orient Park, Palm River-Clair Mel, Egypt Lake-Leto, University, Riverview, Tampa International Airport, Greater Carrollwood, Westchase, Lake Magdalene, Citrus Park, West Park, Ybor City, Palm River, Channelside, Orient Park, Davis Islands and University Of Tampa.

Also included are: New Port Richey, Holiday, East Lake, Keystone, New Port Richey East, Beacon Square, Palm Harbor, Jasmine Estates, Citrus Park, Greater Northdale, Trinity, Elfers, Lake Fern, Jay B Starkey Wilderness Park, Odessa and Westchase.
