Florida's 3-Breasted Woman a Hoax?

Snopes.com, says yes. What do you think?

The story about a Florida woman who opted to have a third breast surgically implanted to make herself less attractive to men spread like wildfire Monday, making headlines across the globe.

Calling herself Jasmine Tridevil, the woman was quoted as saying, “I don’t want to date anymore” to explain why she had the extra breast added. She was also quoted as saying she checked with 50 plastic surgeons before finding one who would perform the unusual plastic surgery for $20,000.

Snopes.com, the site dedicated to ferreting out the truth behind viral stories, however, says Tridevil’s tale just doesn’t add up. They’ve labeled her claims false, citing a myriad of reasons for doing so. Among those reasons, the web domain JasmineTridevil.com is registered to an Alisha Jasmine Hessler, the owner of Alisha’s Golden Touch massage Tampa, Snopes reported.

Golden Touch’s Manta.com profile says the business is a “provider of Internet hoaxes since 2014,” and specializes in “massage for three breasted women.”

Snopes asserts Hessler and Tridevil are one in the same. Hessler had a brush with the law in 2013 when she was arrested on a charge of fraudulent use of personal information, Snope said and Hillsborough County Jail records confirm.
