Free Community Event: Fiesta Bay
A vibrant and family-friendly celebration of Cinco de Mayo will bring the community together May 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 pm
Mariachi music will fill our ears, Mexican cuisine will fill our bellies and love for our community will fill our hearts at Fiesta Day on May 2, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Harvest Hope Park.
This free family-friendly celebration of Cinco de Mayo, presented by CreateCo and University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation) is open to the entire population to enjoy.
Featured attractions include live music and DJ entertainment; food from Xtreme Tacos and WellFed Communities; live music; valuable resources for families and individuals; face painting by Prodigy Cultural Arts instructors; an arts workship and an inflatable slide and interactive games for families.

Information booths from local nonprofits and government agencies, with Spanish-speaking representatives and materials will be on hand.
A community engagement workshop will be led by local artist Junior Polo to gather input for upcoming murals at the new campus.

Fiesta Day aims to celebrate culture, strengthen community connections, and ensure families have access to free resources and services in an inclusive setting.
