Garth Brooks Cancels All 3 Tampa Shows
The concerts are off the schedule to make way for the Stanley Cup Finals.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are taking a backseat to the Tampa Bay Lightning as the local team moves on to the Stanley Cup Finals against Chicago. The Amalie Arena announced Sunday that all three of Brooks’ World Tour performances set for June 5- 6 have been canceled because of the scheduling conflict.
“On behalf of The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood it is with deep regret that we must cancel the Tampa shows due to unexpected scheduling by the NHL and NBC on June 6 for the 2015 Stanley Cup Final,” arena officials wrote in an email to media. “We had hoped to be able to reach an acceptable solution in the best interest of all involved but due to safety considerations it is just not possible.”
In a prepared statement, Brooks and Yearwood expressed their congratulations to the hockey team and their regrets for having to cancel the performances.
