Garth Brooks Sets 2-Night Tampa Tour Stop

For the first time in more than 16 years, Garth Brooks fans won’t have to leave the Tampa Bay area to see the country star on stage.
That’s according to officials at the Amalie Arena who announced Tuesday the country legend had booked a two-night Tampa stop on his world tour. Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will perform at 7 p.m. June 5 and June 6, arena staff wrote in an email to media.
Tickets for the tour dates go on sale Friday, April 10 at 10 a.m. Buyers will be limited to a total of eight tickets each. Ticket prices are $74.98, all inclusive, and will be available at www.ticketmaster.com or www.ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks.

The arena is warning fans to buy only through Ticketmaster. Over-the-phone orders can be placed by calling 1-800-745-3000 or by using Ticketmaster Express at 1-866-448-7849.
Brooks is famed for such chart-topping hits as “The Dance,” “Friends in Low Places” and “Shameless.”
