Gasparilla, Super Bowl Forecast: Sunny and Cool
Revelers shouldn't find the weather getting in their way.

Tampa Bay area residents hoping to enjoy some outdoor time over the weekend are likely to find conditions to their liking.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a sunny, mild weekend ahead with only a slight chance of rain creeping into the forecast as Sunday comes to a close.
Fridayâs high will reach about 70 degrees with an overnight low in the mid-40s. Sunshine is on tap throughout the day and into the evening hours.

Gasparilla Pirate Fest attendees will be greeted to a Saturday thatâs more or less a repeat of Fridayâs weather conditions. Sunshine dominates during the daytime hours and conditions are anticipated to become partly cloudy overnight as lows drop into the 50s.
Super Bowl Sunday is a day of change, but the daytime hours should be quite mild with a high in the mid-70s anticipated. Rain does move into the forecast in the overnight hours with a 20 percent chance expected as of Friday morning.

Monday brings a slightly higher chance of rain at 30 percent during the daytime hours.
