Guide To The 2019 Gasparilla Music Festival

TAMPA, FL -- Now that the piratical carousing and marauding is over, it's time to sit back and enjoy two days of music.

The 2019 Gasparilla Music Festival takes place in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and Kiley Gardens Park March 9-10. The festival features musical acts from a variety of genres as well as cuisine from some of Tampa Bay's top restaurant.

Hosted by the Gasparilla Music Foundation, the festival raises funds for scholarships and instruments for area music students through its Recycled Tunes program.

Beyond the philanthropic mission, the festival gives music lovers a chance to enjoy original music from a variety of singers and musicians.

Kids Fest

New this year is a Kids Fest taking place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day featuring kid-friendly entertainment across several stages.

Kids Fest, presented by Tampa General Hospital, includes free admission into the festival grounds for all kids 12 and under both days (parents need to buy a ticket) and free admission into the Glazer Children’s Museum on Sunday, March 10.

12:45 p.m. -- Kiddo Disco featuring DJ Kitty and Pete the Pelican

1:15 p.m. -- Crestwood Ensembles

Sunday March 10

Noon -- Tampa Metro Youth Orchestra

12:15 p.m. -- Beyond Chaotic

12:45 p.m. -- Little Kids Rock Band

1 p.m. -- Laurie Berkner *

3:30 p.m. -- Laurie Berkner *

*The Laurie Berkner show is free but does require a free Ticket which can be obtained by clicking here. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to show time to ensure entry into the show.
