Halloween 2021: Submit Your Scary Haunted Yard Photo
We are compiling a list of spooky yards and houses to check out in Hillsborough County and need your help.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Goblins and zombies are popping up on lawns across Florida, which families can check out.
Patch is compiling a list of Halloween yard haunts decorated to the max that are worth driving by for gaping:
- The annual Halloween Light Show at 4412 W. Sylvan Ramble St. in Tampa will continue on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 to 9:30 p.m. through Halloween. Sylvan Ramble Lights is now a 501(c)(3) public charity, so donations are tax-deductible and all proceeds of the Halloween Light Show will benefit Clothes to Kids, a Tampa Bay nonprofit. Click here to register to attend the show.
Shoot us an email at dann.white@patch.com if your yard is worth a drive-by this Halloween. We'll keep adding to the 2021 tour of scary yards leading up to Halloween, Oct. 31.

We're also interested in kid-friendly, whimsical Halloween-decorated yards where little ones aren't likely to be chased by a maniac with a chainsaw or have nightmares.
For those of you who are decorating, please practice social distancing and be safe.

Please include the following information:
We prefer that the homeowner submit his or her own yard, or at least an immediate neighbor or close relative.
- Include the exact address of the yard haunt.
- Let us know the dates and hours when your display will be available for viewing, so people aren't ringing your doorbell or bothering your neighbors in the middle of the night.
- Does your yard haunt have a name? Be sure to include it, or we can help you make one up.
- Are you collecting donations for a charity, food pantry or pet shelter? Let us know.
- Are you making any modifications to your display due to the pandemic, such as eliminating walkthroughs and live actors? If it's business as usual, we won't judge. Please practice social distancing if you get a lot of foot traffic, and ask visitors to wear face masks.
- Tell us what makes your yard haunt special.
- Does your display have a Facebook page, Twitter feed or website? Send us the links.
- Provide a phone number (not for publication) in case Patch needs to contact you.
IMPORTANT STUFF: Only submit photos you have taken yourself or are authorized to post on Patch. By submitting a photo, you're giving Patch permission to publish it for this feature and future stories.
