Hardee Pop Warner opens 2018 season

On a very, very hot day the Hardee Pop Warner opened it's 2018 season on Saturday August 25.

The Tiny Mites team won due to forfeit. The Mighty Mites lost 45-0, the
Junior PeeWees lost 34-0 and the Peewee team lost 14-6

Highlights of the game QB Joshua Porter (2) ran the touchdown of the game in the 2nd quarter for the Wildcats. At the end of the 3rd quarter Leonard Frame (7) who was playing corner stopped the Titans from making a touchdown.

By the end of the 2nd quarter the heat had gotten to some of our players so we had to pull 3 of them out of the game leaving us with 15 player to finish the game.

Good defense is what stopped the Titans from over running the Wildcats. Titans showed up with 30 players on their roster and the Wildcats with 18.

The Wildcats will look to improve upon their execution on defense and offense with Desoto next on the schedule.
