Unfortunately the weekend means no food for some children. While subsidized school breakfast and lunch programs are in place during school hours, what happens at mealtime for these very same children evenings, weekends and over the summer months? Breakfast and lunch at school may be the only source of meals for these children.
At State Farm, we care about being good neighbors. For two weeks in February, State Farm Winter Haven Operations employees teamed up with Kids Pack to help feed hungry children in our community. Working together, State Farm associates collected 1,560 Chef Boyardee 7.5 oz microwavable bowls, the #1 item of need. That is about 800 meals for kids!

Thanks to State Farm Winter Haven employees and State Farm agents, Dan Mann and Karen Bryan, there will be less empty tummies this month in Winter Haven.
