Hillsborough County Opening Site To Vaccinate Health Care Workers
The site for health care workers will open Wednesday at the Ed Radice Sports Complex.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Hillsborough County is expanding its Targeted Vaccine Area program to help ensure all Hillsborough health care workers are able to get a COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine.
The Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County and Hillsborough County has partnered to open a COVID-19 vaccine point of dispensing (POD) for health care workers only starting Wednesday, March 3, at Ed Radice Sports Complex, 14720 Ed Radice Drive, Tampa. The POD will operate by appointment for health care workers who live or work in Hillsborough County.
Health care workers with direct patient contact qualify for a vaccine under Florida Governor’s Order 20-315, including physicians, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, phlebotomists, nurses, home health providers, home medical equipment providers, therapists, dental office staff, pharmacists and administrative/reception staff, among other health care professionals.

Proof of eligibility is required and will be strictly enforced at the site. The following documents will be accepted:
- Organizational identification card
- Medical license
- Pay stub showing employment at a health care organization
- W-2 IRS form showing the health care organization as the employer
There are two steps to make an appointment:

- Create an account with CDR Health Pro. You cannot receive an appointment without first creating an account.
- Once you create an account, there will be an option for health care workers to enter a scheduling code. The scheduling code is RADICE03. Once you enter the code, you will see available appointment times for the Ed Radice Sports Complex.
