Hillsborough Deputy Delivers Meal After Arresting DoorDash Driver

TAMPA, FL — What else can a sheriff's deputy do after arresting a DoorDash driver in the process of delivering an order?

In this case, the deputy finished making the delivery.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office posted photos on its Facebook page of the sheriff's deputy knocking on the apartment door of the customer. The customer answered the door expecting to see a DoorDash delivery person and, instead, found a sheriff's deputy standing at the door holding the meal order.

The good-natured customer posed for a photo with the deputy.

The DoorDash driver was arrested on two outstanding warrants.
