Homeless Man Wanted For Homicide Considered Armed, Dangerous

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for a homeless man accused of committing a homicide in Tampa Sunday.

TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for a homeless man accused of committing a homicide in Tampa Sunday.

At around 1:45 a.m., deputies discovered a man dead of upper-body trauma in the 7400 block of Mohawk Avenue.

During their investigation, detectives said they discovered that Willie Frank Hunter, 43, is connected to the homicide.

Hunter is wanted for first-degree premeditated murder and felon in possession of a firearm.

"Hunter should be considered armed and dangerous," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Our detectives are working tirelessly to find him, but if anyone comes in contact with him first, please use caution and contact us immediately."
