Hooters Girls Visit Hope Lodge and Assemble Care Packages

Calendar Tour Included Giving Back to Community

The 2020 Hooters Calendar Girls spent time helping the community during the Tampa Bay area tour. On Thursday, November 21st the Hooters Calendar Girls assembled care packages at the South Tampa Hooters location with local military members to send to Armed Forces. The care packages will be sent to troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Japan and Djibouti.This is part of Hooters Operation Calendar Drop Program.

That evening, the calendar girls visited the American Cancer Society Tampa Hope Lodge. They provided dinner and played Wingo with 70 guests of the Tampa Hope Lodge. The evening of fun and games included prizes for the Wingo winners. Wingo is Hooters version of Bingo.

Finally on Friday, November 22nd, in conjunction with iHeartMedia and 970 WFLA Radio, Hooters donated turkeys to the Metropolitan Ministries Food Drive. The calendar girls were at the event at Westshore Plaza. Hooters Management Corporation has been a part of this food drive for over 10 years.

“We enjoyed being able to include the charity outreach events into this year’s calendar tour,” said Denise Williams, Chief Marketing Officer of Hooters Management Corporation.

The Hooters Calendar Tour included Miss Hooters International and 2020 Hooters Calendar cover girl Briana Smith, Miss January Somer Bishop, Miss February Sidney Pickman, Miss March Eariel Jeffers, Miss April Mackenzie Rich and 18Tampa Bay area Hooters Girls. Bishop works at The Original Hooters in Clearwater.

Over 200 Hooters Girls from ten countries are featured in the 2020 Hooters Calendar. Calendars are available at all Hooters locations and online. The calendar includes over $100 in coupons and deals at your local Hooters restaurant. The calendars are available for $14.99 at all Tampa Bay Hooters locations.

The community can also get involved in the Operation Calendar Drop initiative. The program provides a way for guests of Hooters Restaurants to purchase a 2020 Hooters Calendar and attach a personal note of thanks to our troops. Through Operation Calendar Drop, many of the Hooters Calendars are shipped to The Armed Forces stationed overseas.
