ACROSS FLORIDA — If you're worried that your flight to Florida will take you into the path of Hurricane Dorian, you may be able to reschedule your flight for free.

Delta
Delta Airlines has announced that flights to and from Brunswick and Valdosta, Georgia, Daytona Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Miami, Orlando and West Palm Beach, Florida between Sept. 1 and 4 could be impacted.

To help impacted customers leave Florida, the airline increased the number of flights Friday, Saturday and Sunday, offering an additional 10,539 seats for customers departing cities along the Southeast coast from Brunswick, Georgia down across most of Florida and Bahamas.
Delta recommends that customers keep their current flight plans and continue to monitor the status of their flights using My Trips on delta.com or the Fly Delta app.

However, customers can also make a one-time change to a different flight and Delta will waive any applicable fees, or they may cancel their trip and use the value toward a future flight.
Southwest
Customers flying Southwest Airlines between Aug. 31 to Sept. 4 to or from Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa and West Palm Beach may rebook in the original class of service or travel standby within 14 days of their original travel date without paying any additional charge.
Customers who purchased their tickets via Southwest.com are eligible to reschedule their flights online or from their mobile device.
Customers who did not purchase a ticket via Southwest.com can call 1-800-435-9792 to speak with a customer representative.
Customers holding reservations for a flight that is cancelled may request a refund for an unused ticket.
American
American Airlines will waive fees for flights to and from Daytona Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Key West, Melbourne, Miami, Orlando, Sarasota/Bradenton, Tallahassee, Tampa and West Palm Beach between Aug. 30 and Sept. 3 if the ticket was purchased before Aug. 29.
Passengers can reschedule their trips online.
Spirit
Those scheduled to fly Spirit Airlines to or from Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa between Aug. 30 to Sept. 3 will have fees waived to reschedule their flights through Sept. 18.
Frontier
Frontier Airlines passengers traveling to and from Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Sarasota, Tampa and West Palm Beach between Sept. 2 and 3 who purchased their tickets before or on Aug. 28 may make one itinerary change without fees.
Travel must be completed no later than Sept. 27. Customers whose flights are cancelled may request a refund.
JetBlue
JetBlue is waiving change and cancellation fees for flights to and from Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Orlando and Palm Beach between Sept. 1 and 3 if purchased on or before Aug. 29.
Customers may rebook their flights for travel through Sept. 10 online or by calling 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583). Customers with cancelled flights may also opt for a refund.
