Hurricane Irma Aftermath: How Tampa Residents Can Get Help Applying For FEMA Money

Housing and Community Development staff will help residents apply to FEMA for disaster aid​. The offices will be open Monday through Friday.

TAMPA, FL — Community Assistance Centers will reopen Monday to help Tampa residents hit hard by Hurricane Irma get money for repairs.

Housing and Community Development staff will help residents apply to FEMA for disaster aid. The offices will be open Monday through Friday this week from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The city said it also has some money to help homeowners with Irma-related house repairs.

"We are gathering resource information that we can also provide with meal locations, contacts for volunteers, etc.," the city said.
